Following on with the photography for my main story, I have started to plan and take photos for other features in my newspaper.
I took the opportunity to include a story about the disruption the heavy snowfall in Liverpool caused in January. I decided this story should focus around travel chaos, as many people in the target audience would have been left stranded from college and university after buses etc were cancelled. I therefore took a range of photos to highlight the severity of the snow.
One features a tyre track in the snow to symbolise the traffic chaos, while others show thick snow on the ground and trees to highlight how heavy the snowfall was. Below is an example of the images I took.

I will crop these in Photoshop to a suitable size before including them in my magazine.
I plan to go to attend a gig organised by the radio station I work for at Rampworx, a locla skatepark, where urban/grime star Kof will be playing. I will photograph Kof's performance, aiming to stand back from the crowd so as to capture both Kof and the audience in the framing.
I will also take photographs of my radio colleagues competing in the Active Knowsley Challenge to potentially use in sports stories.
