On Monday I attended the opening of Huyton Arts and Sports Centre for Learning. Here I was able to make a note of key facts and figures about the Centre which I am going to type up for use in my main newspaper article.
Later today I have arranged to meet Madeleine Cotson, the Principal, after formal lessons at the school have finished. I will take a digital camera with me to this meeting as I have been allowed to take photographs of elements of the school. I am also using the opportunity to interview Mrs Cotson and gain useful quotes/facts about the Centre for my article.
Once I have completed the visit, I will import my pictures to Adobe Photoshop to edit them into initial edits, which I will then select from later on in the production stage to use in the newspaper itself. With regards to the text I will type this up in Microsoft Word into rough notes again for use later on in production.
