Considering the age range of my target audience, I have had the idea of going with more 'daring' or 'exciting' fonts for the masthead and headlines within my newspaper. Of the examples I viewed, I have narrowed the following down as the most appropriate.
I am going to experiment with these fonts in some mock-up front pages, and decide on which is most suitable to use; possibly through audience feedback.
In contrast to all of this I have decided that for the actual body text, a clearer font such as Segoe or Arial will be preferable as it is easier to read than the more 'complicated' fonts.
